Enzo Berti - designer
Its cultural education is marked by the studies made under the guide of Alberto Viani of the Belle Arti Academy of Venice. He attends the advanced course of industrial design promoted by the Architecture Faculty of Venice. His professional activity starts very soon, during the studies: during these years he plans and realises good quality objects for exhibitions of decorative arts in several European countries. In the following years, Berti shows to be a designer with considerable creative capacity and marked esthetical sense, its projects reveal his artistic origins, they are never a result of simple technical intuition. He always easily finds the correct synthesis between form and function, exploiting at the same time the expression of every singular material, even if poor. The research of simplification, without forget the details, in the home furniture and objects in general, are the main feature of its design; the result of this method drives to the creation of elements with a soul that bind them to the history and the surroundings.... strong objects, quite traditional, but at the same time that lead to a progress to see the things.
